About Me

Cultural Village of Phu-Thai Khok Kong is a small village of 130 household families with a total population of 600 inhabitants. It lies near a mall stream which flows all year round. It is essential in daily life and causes the weather and temperature to be cool all year round as well.

Since 1998 Phu-Thai Khok Kong Cultural Village has been opened as a cultural tourist attraction as well as the new way of life of Kalasin.

Each year the amounts of both Thai tourists and foreign tourists visited this cultural village is plentiful. In the year 2000 Phu-Thai Khok Kong Cultural Village rewarded the prize from The Third Thailand Tourism Awards 2000 in which kind of town and community attraction which can guarantee the tourism quality in all aspects of this cultural village.

The latest news from "Thai House Isaan"

We have had a busy three months. I have been back from Australia for over two months and had such a great time with my family. Pumpkin needed some special time and we also planted our rice crops. Unfortunately I have now had to return to resume caring for my mother. Noi is joining me in Australia at the begining of September and will be with me for three months. The Guesthouse will remain closed until January 2011 but I will update this side bar each month with the news.

Tours Development

"Thai House" really wants our Guests and Friends to experience a unique holiday when visiting us. It is with this in mind that we continue to develop and improve on our tours. It is fun for Noi and I to discover new venues and sites to show our Guests. We now have a better understanding of the richness that Isaan has in Dinosaur Fossils. We have added more to this fun tour and now include Wat Nimit, a truly amazing Temple located only 5 minutes from the Dinosaur Museum. Here are some pictures taken on tour.
